Iran Sends Medical Aid to Kyrgyzstan to Combat COVID-19

Iran’s embassy in Bishkek has stated that Iran sent a medical aids to Kyrgyzstan in order to help the Central Asian nation combat COVID-19.


According to the Iran’s embassy in Bishkek, the cargo contained ventilators, thermometers and pulse oximeters, PCR tests and kits for testing EIA, FNA reports.

The Iranian diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan added that the cargo was dispatched in a bid to contribute to the friendly country’s fight against coronavirus disease.

In a relevant event, Iran's medical and healthcare aid cargo was delivered to Afghanistan's ministry of health at Kabul airport on Wednesday July 29.

The 1,100-kilogram cargo valued 75,000 euros was delivered by Iranian Ambassador to Afghanistan Bahador Aminian to Afghan officials.

The cargo included Covid-19 diagnostic kits, ventilators, thermometers, pulse oximeters, N95 masks and disinfectants.
